ABOUT PLAYE
Introducing PLAYE, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded by Ayesha Alibaig, CEO, and her son Mikaeel. Inspired by the best practices of GRASSROOTS TENNIS and MIKATENSITY TENNIS, PLAYE is driven by a strong commitment to giving back to the community and promoting the game of tennis. Ayesha has been successfully organizing USTA-sanctioned tournaments at the Indian Spring Country Club in Boynton Beach since 2020. Meanwhile, Mikaeel, a remarkable talent, has made his mark as one of Florida's top-ranked junior players under 14 and is internationally recognized within the top 50 by the Asian Tennis Federation. His tennis journey began in 2018 through the GRASSROOTS TENNIS Jr Match-Play program.
During a recent visit to Pakistan, Mikaeel exemplified PLAYE's mission by generously donating a suitcase brimming with tennis rackets, bags, strings, clothes, and other equipment to deserving players who lack the means to access such resources. Locally, Mikaeel also extended his support by providing a Wilson bag, racket, and accessories to a player from the Delray Beach Youth Tennis Foundation.
PLAYE was founded with a vision to continue making a positive impact on the community, both locally and globally. Their aim is to assist well-deserving players and organizations, fostering unity and creating safer spaces for young athletes to thrive.
